with my 15 year old girl
i spotted this fabulous yellow metal ring
at the register when we were buying her some baseball tees.....

....i love that the paint chipped
and now the middle looks sort of rusty and vintage....
well, i have loved it so much
that i went back to see if they had any other colors.....
.....all they had was black......

i was disappointed,
but then i started thinking, .......spray paint
i'm not a very good painter,
(i leave that to my pal, who is fabulous at it :)
but this was super easy.....
first i took out all the pearls
and then.......

i love how they turned out!!
i still have a couple more,
....i'm thinking red or turquoise.....
.....i know, i went a little ring crazy!
but....they were only $4!
they could be a great gift....
or my daughter may wear them...
.....or....... i may just wear a different color every day!

so cute! i'm really impressed.
i have to think more like this when i'm shopping. with just a few simple modifications, i could turn something simple and inexpensive into something fabulous!
oh $4 is so so doable! plus i love the dusty colours you chose for them!!
They look gorgeous!
perfect!

I know that this was posted quite a while back but I was wondering what the rings are made of? Does the store have a website? Thanks, Michele
i actually was at charlotte russe a few weeks ago and still saw some of the black ones there. I think this is the ring....

except when i bought mine, they had a pearl in the middle instead of a rhinestone (which i took out anyway) the ring is metal...so it takes the spray paint really well. hope that helps :)
