big friendship...

can't even say how much i loved making friendship bracelets
when i was just a kiddo....
...and lately i've been seeing kits and embroidery floss
and i can't explain it
but i've just been itching to make some....
.
so i am so loving these big friendship bracelets....
a new take on an old favorite
.

I used to know so many knots to make these! And I would tape them to my knee while in progress!
I coach high school field hockey and dang are they making a comeback. All the girls have them on their wrists and as headbands!

oh my goodness. this took me back to the 90s. when i begged my best friend toni to show me how to make these.

of course, after mastering the art, i made probably 2million of these and gave them to everyone i ever met.

thanks! hah

Oh how I loved making these when I was younger! This is such a great idea- they are gorgeous and would make a great present for a best friend!

I still have some unfinished bracelets in my embroidery bag... think I might have to dig them out for something to do while I'm sitting in the yard this summer :)

Ahhh I loved making these! I'd tie the end around my big toe and off I went. I wonder how many I made over the years! I'm making a mental note to teach my daughter how in a few years. Love this post!

To be honest, I hopped on to your blog after noticing the Bong font on the newspaper box. But now that I'm here, I'm loving it! :)
