...my favorite shoe store in any city i've ever been.
these are my birthday shoes/boots
that i was able to snag
at their going out of business sale
...and i love, love, love them...
but i'm sad that i will never shop there again
and i'm sad that another small business is gone.

it makes me feel old when favorite places we've frequented close. but, what doesn't make me feel old is looking at your shoe collection. i can see all kinds of different shoelaces in those boots starting with neon colors & lace!

We live in a small urban village on the outskirts of Philly. We have a number of small, precious, shops. And it breaks my heart every time one closes its doors. *sighs*
I love that you will have little pieces of Pella, though, walking around with you!
