i heart diy...

i've totally been in a diy mood lately....

and i really like this twist on elbow patches...

cute hearts...that aren't too cute

i think they would look good in a vintage-y floral fabric....

these rings were one of my all time favorite diys .....
super easy peasy....and super cute
....and ivillage just included it in their
valentines craft roundup....

spotted jackie's super cute valentine bunting "to do"

over on her fun blog, smooth pebble...

so easy....

hearts cut out from recycled safety envelopes...

(which i have been saving forever,

and now that pile can be made into something fabulous :)

and a little baker's twine and some glue...

certainly a must do this weekend!

i heart you...

i made a few of these fun candy heart rings
for my daughter (and possibly, me :)
to wear on valentine's day.....
i spotted this idea in a magazine my mom gave me

...they are super easy....
you only need a few things:
candy hearts
inexpensive ring blanks
and hot glue (i didn't use stronger glue
because i would like to recycle the ring blanks
for a real ring project)

i think you can figure out the rest....
....now, if she can just make it through 3rd hour
without eating it :)

one week away....
i think this weekend would be a good time to make my valentines
.....sadly, i won't be making any with my kids..
the decision has been made that store bought is better....
so, goodbye beautiful little handmade cards....hello sponge bob
