wow, that rug is gorgeous! i may have to drop a hint to a knitter friend or family member because i really want one!
LOL - I wonder who you could possibly be hinting at...? :) Such a lovely gift!
What a fabulous rug! I don't think that I'd be able to walk on it after putting so much work into it.....
so pretty! I hope someone knits it for you.
i would never walk on it!
I think you could try making a very similar rug by felting old wool sweaters (sending them through the hot water cycle). That's what I thought the rug was at first... And it really is so lovely.
This patterns is amazing! Instead of making it a doormat, I'll turn it into a sort of valance. Thanks so much!
natali...what a great idea...would love to see pics if you make it :)michelle
I would love to have a rug like that in my room. :)
this looks so fun. I'd love to have that rug too. I'm not a knitter either, so someone might need to give it to me as a gift as well.
How about making flowers from felted sweaters for the non knitters and sewing or gluing them onto canvas floor cloth or some thing washable? Thst is what I thought this was when I first saw the picture. Take care.
